Offer a service only at certain times, without changing anyone’s hours.
Some services should only run at particular times - a class every Tuesday afternoon, consultations only in the mornings. An availability window says so without touching the rota that every other service depends on.
Windows are set on the service itself. They can repeat weekly, or apply to one date only.
The moment a service has any window at all, it becomes bookable only inside its windows. A service with one Tuesday window is unavailable every other day of the week - which is usually the intention, but it surprises people who added a window meaning to add extra availability.
