The length the client books, and the turnaround only you see.
Duration is the client-facing length: what they see on the booking page, what the confirmation says, and what appears in their history.
Blocked time is the turnaround afterwards - clearing up, resetting the room. The client is not there for it and never sees it, but the team member cannot take another booking during it.
A 30-minute service with 15 minutes of blocked time is a 30-minute appointment to the client and 45 minutes of the team member’s day. The next bookable start is 45 minutes later, not 30.
Blocked time is copied onto each booking as it is made. Changing it later affects new bookings only, so appointments already in the calendar keep the turnaround they were booked with.
